Ingredients
1 | bag oh naturel! ® Quinoa and Mushroom Burgers |
12 oz | mixed mushrooms, sliced |
3 tbsp | butter |
3 tbsp | flour |
1 ½ cup | vegetable broth |
1 | sprig fresh rosemary |
3 | sprigs fresh thyme |
1 | bay leaf |

Pepper |
directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place burgers in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 15-20 mins, turning halfway through.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sauté mushrooms until golden brown, stirring frequently (about 6 to 7 minutes).
Sprinkle flour over top. Stir well for about 2 minutes to coat mushrooms.
Pour vegetable broth into skillet and whisk well to combine.
Add herbs and season with salt and pepper.
Allow sauce to simmer for another 10 minutes. Sauce will thicken.
Place burger patties on a serving platter and pour mushroom sauce over top.
Serve immediately.
Tip: Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
Replace vegetable broth with beef broth for a more rounded flavour.
